Prime Rib

Ingredients:

  • 1 -10 pound prime rib roast
  • 2 cups minced white onions
  • 10 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons grounded black pepper

Directions:

Place the roast in a roasting pan with the fatty side up. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and thyme. Spread the mixture over the fatty layer of the roast, and let the roast sit out until it is at room temperature, no longer than 1 hour.

  • Pre-heat oven to 475F for 15 minutes.
  • Place the prime rib roast in a large roasting pan with the fat side up.
  • In a medium size mixing bowl, mix together the onions,garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and thyme. Spread the mixture over the fatty layer of the roast, and let the roast sit out until it is at room temperature, no longer than 1 hour.
